Aline-Sitoé N'Diaye
Filmmaker - Editor
BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in France in 1995, Aline-Sitoé has always loved drawing and storytelling. Growing up with a passion for movies and film, she took film classes in high school and then attended film school for three years. After obtaining a certificate in screenwriting at UQÀM (Montreal), she launched herself as an independent filmmaker. As a young artist, she has directed and edited a multitude of projects ranging from music videos to documentaries and short films.
Social injustices and the mixing of cultures are recurring themes in her documentary and associative projects, but also in fiction, such as Fragments (2021), Émersion (2022), Ceeb [Thieb] or The Bronx Berlin Connection (2020). Her latest short film Émersion deals with the identity of a mixed race woman in France from her childhood to her adult life, told through dance.
For her, art is a way to invite an audience to deepen its own reflection.
