The intention of the collaboration with the artist MA2P was to create a work at the border of our respective domains, in order to make a challenging and original creation.
We chose to make this video from elements of graphic research carried out over several years, and to extract the hidden thread : love.
It is thus a dive into the most intimate place of an artist’s soul: his drawing book.
Going through the torments associated with the evolution of love through time, a story emerged from it : a passionate and destructive love through the experience of the time.

In the sandstone of pencil strokes, paint jets, colors and compositions, Aline-Sitoé N'Diaye builds frame after frame this story edited with various techniques.
Whether in real photography, in stop motion or in digital effects, it was important for the director to keep the essence of the work of the artist Raphaël "Ma2p" Mapp, during the transition from imagination to reality, by animating it, giving it life!
